Resetting Watchlist Values

Watchlists are powerful tools to help you keep your eye on the markets. By creating watchlists of stocks you're interested in, you'll be putting yourself in a great position to profit when the markets create buying opportunities.

There are a number of fields that help you keep track of items in a watchlist:

• Watch Start - Price at which you started watching this security. 
• Date Added - The date you started watching this security.
• Watch Change - Points changed since you started watching.
• Watch % - Percentage change since you started watching.

Resetting the Watch Start and Date Added Values for Individual Items

You can reset the Watch Start and Date Added values for an individual holding by selecting it and then clicking on the "Details" button in the toolbar. You'll see the details window where you can change these values.

Bulk Reset of the Watch Start and Date Added Values

You can also reset the Watch Start and Date Added values for several securities at once or even the entire Watchlist. To do this, open the "Reset Watchlist values" window from the toolbar's More menu.

Then select how you would like to reset these values.

You can reset the values for all items in the Watchlist or only for the currently selected set of items.
