When connecting your brokerage accounts to StockMarketEye, there are occasional errors that can occur. We’ve updated the error popup text to give you more insight into why the error occurred and how to fix it. StockMarketEye Brokerage Account Connection Error Messages
Error: Additional data/auth required ( stands mostly for 2FA)
Explanation: The brokerage account requires additional authentication to connect the account. Please visit the brokerage account website and then try connecting again. If the problem persists, please reach out to our customer support team.
Error: Login in progress/or not finished
Explanation: Please finish the login/sign-up process to the brokerage account to connect the account with StockMarketEye. If the problem persists, please reach out to our customer support team.
Error: Unexpected site error
Explanation: Unexpected error connecting brokerage. Please try again. If the problem persists, please reach out to our customer support team.
Error: Something went wrong
Explanation: Could not connect the account at this time. Please try again. If the problem persists, please reach out to our customer support team.
Error: Action on the brokerage website is required
Explanation: The brokerage account requires additional authentication to connect the account. Please try logging in directly to your brokerage account and then try connecting it again to StockMarketEye. If the problem persists, please reach out to our customer support team.
