Where Are The StockMarketEye 4 Data Files Stored?

StockMarketEye v4 stores its data on your computer's hard drive. The following table shows you where to look to find the StockMarketEye data files on your computer.

Mac OS X (standard version)

• /Users/<youruser>/Library/ApplicationSupport/StockMarketEye40
• Note: On Lion (10.7) and later, the Library folder is hidden by default.  See this page for how to unhide it.

Mac OS X  (App Store version)

• /Users/<your-user>/Library/Containers/com.stockmarketeye.mac/Data/Library/ApplicationSupport/StockMarketEye40

Windows 10 / 8 / 7 / Vista

• C:\Users\<youruser>\AppData\Roaming\StockMarketEye40

Windows XP

• C:\DocumentsandSettings\<youruser>\ApplicationData\StockMarketEye40

Linux (all versions)

• /home/<your user>/.StockMarketEye40

Accessing the 'StockMarketEye40' Folder

From the StockMarketEye "About" window, you can access the data files and folders from the "System" tab as shown in the image below.

The "System" tab has links to each of the important folders that StockMarketEye uses to store data and additional files.

What's In This 'StockMarketEye40' Folder?

Under this folder you'll find several other sub-folders:

• db - This is the folder that stores all of the data in StockMarketEye  - Watchlists, Portfolios, settings, columns, etc.
• autobkup - This folder stores the automatic backup files.
• log - This folder stores the StockMarketEye log file.
